About This Project
We responded to a sewer backup at a residential property in Burbank where access to the main line was severely limited. With no accessible cleanout on the ground level, our team ran a sewer camera from the roof vent stack to inspect the line and trace the path of the blockage. The camera inspection revealed a hidden cleanout behind a storage shed in the backyard that had been disguised as a storm drain, causing it to go unnoticed and unmaintained. The cleanout had overflowed due to heavy buildup in the line. Once the hidden access point was located, we deployed our War Hog trailer-mounted jetter rated at 4,000 PSI and 18 GPM to clear the blockage and scour the full length of the sewer line. After jetting, we re-ran the camera to confirm the line was clear and flowing properly. The homeowner now knows where the cleanout is located for future maintenance access.
