Terms of Service

Last updated September 3, 2025

Welcome to Drip Too Hard Plumbing ("DTHP", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services, and any related communications. By booking, requesting service, or using our site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Estimates, Pricing & Authorization

  • Estimates. Written or verbal estimates are good-faith approximations. Final pricing may vary based on site conditions, additional labor, materials, permits, or unforeseen issues (e.g., concealed plumbing defects).
  • Authorization to Proceed. Work begins only after you (or your authorized agent) approve the scope and price. Digital approvals, emails, SMS, or signed work orders count as authorization.
  • Time & Materials (if applicable). Where quoted T&M, you agree to pay the prevailing hourly rate plus materials, disposal, travel, and applicable taxes/fees.

2. Scheduling, Arrival Windows & Access

  • Arrival Windows. We provide estimated arrival windows and do our best to be on time; traffic, emergencies, and supplier delays can impact timing.
  • Access. You must provide safe, unobstructed access to work areas, utility shutoffs, crawl spaces, clean-outs, and parking for service vehicles.
  • Emergency & Priority Service. After-hours/holiday work and priority dispatch (e.g., active leaks, bursts, backups, jetting) may incur additional rates.

3. Cancellations, No-Show & Trip Fees

  • Standard Appointments. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel standard appointments.
  • Trip/Diagnostic Fees. A diagnostic/dispatch fee may be charged when a technician is sent to your location, including no-access/no-show situations.
  • Deposits & Special Order Materials. Certain projects require non‑refundable deposits to cover custom or special‑order materials.

4. Payments & Financing

  • Due Upon Completion. Unless otherwise stated in writing, payment is due upon substantial completion of the work.
  • Methods. We accept common payment methods; financing may be available via third‑party providers. Third‑party terms apply.
  • Late/Returned Payments. Past‑due balances may accrue late fees and collection costs as permitted by law.

5. Warranties & Exclusions

  • Labor Warranty. We warrant our labor against defects in workmanship for a stated period on the invoice (if not stated, 90 days for service calls; 1 year for installed fixtures, unless otherwise noted). Normal wear, abuse, misuse, neglect, acts of God, or pre‑existing system defects are excluded.
  • Manufacturer Warranties. Products/fixtures are covered by their respective manufacturers. We assist with claims when feasible but are not responsible for manufacturer decisions.
  • Drain Cleaning. Drain clearing/jetting restores flow but does not guarantee prevention of future blockages caused by roots, breaks, or collapsed lines; inspection/camera services recommended.

6. Site Conditions & Limitations

  • Unforeseen Conditions. We may discover conditions requiring additional work (e.g., hidden leaks, code issues). We will communicate options and obtain approval for change orders.
  • Protection of Property. We take reasonable care but are not responsible for pre‑existing damage or consequential damage where reasonable precautions were taken.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DTHP will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from or related to the services or these Terms. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

8. User Conduct & Website Use

  • Do not misuse the site (attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt service).
  • Content on the site (copy, logos, photos) is owned by DTHP or its licensors and protected by law.
  • Third‑party links are provided as a convenience; we are not responsible for their content or policies.

9. Disputes, Governing Law & Venue

  • Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.
  • Venue. You agree to exclusive venue in the state courts located in Los Angeles County, California (or small‑claims court, where appropriate).
  • Informal Resolution. Please contact us first to try to resolve any concern quickly and fairly.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates take effect when posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be noted.
